The aim of «GayBelarus» is to give lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders (hereinafter referred to as LGBT) and their immediate surrounding (relatives, colleagues, friends) any essential help and support in Belarus.Objectives of «GayBelarus» are:
-contribution of the fully LGBT human rights implementation which are provided by law of Republic of Belarus including the international agreements confirmed by Republic of Belarus;
-homophobia and transphobia level decrease as well as increasing of the tolerance towards the LGBT people;
-social and psychological support of the LGBT people, members of their families and immediate surrounding.

«GayBelarus» is an convener of the annual belarusian international LGBT Human Rights forum «Minsk Gay Pride».
Activity objects «GayBelarus» are human rights, information and social work.
«GayBelarus» makes use of the following working methods in order to reach its purposes and problem solving:
- analysis of the human rights violations of people who thinks themselfs as LGBT people and distribution of the results of such analysis afterwards;
- analysis of the law for discriminatory and antidiscriminatory articles by measure of the sexual orientation and gender identity;
- development of the recomendations for the subjects which hold a right of legislative initiative, in order to update the Belarus law in a part of the defense against discrimination by measure of the sexual orientation and gender identity;
- enhancement of the law knowledge of the LGBT people, their parents and immediate surrounding by means of the educational events;
- defence of the rights and legitimate interests and also presentation of the legitimate interests of «GayBelarus»'s members within the state structures and other institutions;
- public awareness campaigns and presentation of the truthful information about homo-, bi- and transgender and also about the level of LGBT people living;
- development of the recomendations for the Belarusian authorities, political parties and civil associations about the measures which are necessary in order to decrease homo-and transphobia level;
- conduction of the cultural and educational, entertaining, sporting events which are aimed at the purposes achievement and problems solving;
- conduction and participation within the arranging public theoretical and practical discussions, working meetings, analytical and investigative actions, conferences, seminars, lectures, workshops, forums, exhibitions and other events;
- conduction of the experience exchange among the organisation members;
- popularisation organisation activity and attraction of new members withing the organisation;
- partnership fence mending and cooperation with different public associations, initiatives which have similar purposes and objectives of activity both on national and internation levels.
